They do look pretty nice. Just a note, they are a bit taller at full compression than the stock springs, so you do lose a little bit of articulation. The pre-installed springs were too soft, so I swapped them for the included medium springs.

Yup... i need to invest in a hole punch I found a hollow insert from my dremel, sharpened the end with a file, and hammered a hole. I first tried a drill and almost ruined a tire.

Lucky you didn't wrap that tire up tight around your drill bit!!!

Oh but I did! It looks worse in the picture, but it ripped the top layer of rubber. Should still hold up fine though.

Boy, that sure does look nice! To bad I didn't realize that the Vanquish beadlock rings come in single packs... $11.99 per ring. I do believe these are the last Vanquish wheels I will ever purchase. It's not worth how much you pay. The wheels are $69 a pair and you still have to buy the SLW hubs. The 4 pink IFR rings are almost $50. ( I have over $200 intonthese wheels at this point) I could have gotten some nice SSD wheels all decked out for way cheaper.

I shouldn't complain though. They ask a premium price, and i was obviously willing to pay it to get the look I wanted. In the end, I'm happy because ot looks freakin awesome!

This rig is shaping up nicely. I finally got the beadlock rings in the mail and ran it around the house on 3s for a bit. For a trail truck I feel like it is about bit slow with the stock 13t pinion, so I'll experiment with that at bit. The front end looks naked with those empty light buckets... I have some Meus lights coming in the mail soon and I hope they fit!

Hmmm... stock pinion is 13t. I could try 14/15t or just put that motor back in my trx4 and put a castle 2850kv slate motor in. Thoughts?

We put a 2800kv in ours and it’s ok. I may go bigger pinion on it too
