It's official, I kinda suck at drifting.

Ok, I just need a lot of practice. I set up a course in the living room. Look at all that space. And yet I think I might as well make hitting the cones my objective, I'm really good at that part. 🤣
Seriously this thing drifts way better in reverse. 🤪

It's not as easy as one may think. Takes some practice.

Mrs Doom! is going to kick you in the nuts if you scuff up her floor 😅

Is that hickory?

Judging by the picture, you're the best drifter in the neighborhood. :D
Years ago, we had the cleanest kitchen floor in the neighborhood.
An old toy grade buggy drifted like a big dog on a wet freshly mopped floor. :D

To be fair I probably have less than an hour of drift time, for no more than 15 minutes at a time. I just need some time.

Oh no, I'm certain you just suck!

I've been trying but sometimes it gets confusing as to which way I need to steer. 🤣

The flooring is Vinyl plank. I really love it.
Hard to tell in the pic. But I kinda suspected. Nobody uses real wood anymore. But the stuff they have meow looks really good.

That is either a type of pine or a hickory pattern there. My least favorite wood I ever worked with was hickory, but it's the most beautiful if left natural with a clear finish, which yours simulates, and I love it. We made a 40 piece kitchen for a big fancy house for a doctor like that. Cabinets, island, countertop laminated with a nice, but fake, blue marble, etc. It was the coolest looking kitchen I've ever seen.

I'm trying to figure out this drift thing myself. From the number of videos I've seen, the concensus seems to be that the ready Mini Zs are not at all designed for drifting, out of the box. So, you could get these 2 similar parts off Amazon for a bit under $60. I'll probably get it once I pay off the Xmas bills.
