Is it just me or a lot of the :n00bie: 's really impatient and a lot of times just a PITA? I've noticed a lot of people with under 100 posts just wreaking havoc on some of the threads. Shooting his/her mouth off :argue: for pages upon pages of nothing.

I don't remember being that much of an Asswipe when I was new... If I was, I apologize now to all affected.

Sorry, it's just been really getting to me lately.

Ya know olds, I get into one bad deal and you won't let me forget it. :jk:

Anyways, compared to other boards, it would seem that the mods here are somewhat more liberal as to what they allow as posts so for n00bs, especially younger n00bs, it can and will get out of control at times. A FAQ on each forum would be a big help, let them get acustomed to reading lots of good threads before they go and post the worst trash they have to say. Just my 2 bits.

The best is the most recent posts that have been ressurrected from 2002... lol

I get annoyed by the "which truck?" threads or other really vague questions. "How do I paint a body?" I mean c'mon! Some of 'em don't seem to have a problem droppin multi-hundred dollars on a new revo but heaven forbid they do 45 minutes of research on how to diagnose a rich condition. The laziness annoyes me but I simply ignore the ignorant ones

One too many :trashed: sessions and I get bored and think I'll have time to read all the posts..... AND REPLY. Whew, I hope I'm not a major PITA to the group. I'm new to the nitro scene and I love it. I hope to be able to help some day, but I know as of now, You guys have been a great help. I haven't posted all that much, but I've gained a great deal of information browsing the posts. Thanks everyone on RCNT for making this such a great and informative site.

Ps, I'll try not to mix the computer and booze so much :puke:

The only thing that really pisses me off is when someone asks for some constructive criticism on a car or truck and then either that person or someone responding refuses to hear anything negative about the r/c. Other than that, general laziness just bothers be.

Basically those asking for links to products that can be just as easily found using an internet search; Those not using the search function here on the site ... repeatedly!; and the "my car will whoop your car" posts.

"Pissing matches" are just awaste of time.

you totally took the words right out of my mouth.. To the T. The 'Which truck to buy" and "Tmaxx VS Savage" threads annoy the Hell out of me too.

This one pissed me off, https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23419 but this guy Scurvy put me over the edge. If I would have seen him in person I prob would have beat the poop out of him!

If you don't have anything constructive to say, I don't mean if you have a joke or sly comment to say to sombody. This guy was just being a PITA and and butthead. There is my rant for the day.

I'm a "new" guy here, but its the same on all sites as they grow, unfortunatly its the price you pay.

yeah, that was pretty recent. i agree, but that's the type of stuff I simply ignore. I figure "if you can't say anything nice......" (you know the rest)

well i made a thread on how to mask a body correctly, it does not hurt to know when first painting a body, and if that annoyed someone than i dont know what wont? I'm 15 years old but i dont annoy people on this site, you have to post with maturity. I'm sure alot of people that have bashed with me can vouch for that. I'm not saying your pointing a finger towards me or anything, just a general statement.

later.

I hear ya skyline. That particular question is not at all vague. In that case you are asking a fairly specific question about only one step in body painting. Completely respectable question by my personal standards.

In all actuality, all questions are welcomed here at RCNT. But I think sometimes the guys that do a lot of helping around here feel taken advantage of because they find themselves answering the same question 3 times in 2 weeks. The search is a great feature but not all answers are going to be found. Now I've had my share of questions but I almost always try to look first. The amount of help I've had here has come mostly in just keeping up on current threads and using the search when necessary. Now I understand that not everybody is coming back to this site 3, 4, 5 or more times a day to keep current but I think some people should put a little more effort into this hobby. If they want an r/c that they don't have to F#@! with maybe they should look into the latest thing from Tyco at Toys R Us

a very good thread indeed. I ofton find myself remembering that thread when something of the sort arises, and yes that was me who told somebody they needed to include a price in there for sale thread not too long ago. I thought it was a fairly pleasant notification.
