I thought of that, but wasn't sure if it would hold up. I guess it would though being kinda like rubber though@WickedFog you can just use latex paint to seal your stream bed. It is waterproof and can be mixed to any color, much cheaper than flex seal and similar products.
I plan on painting the whole surface with Latex paint just to give it a protective coating.
Bridge base is drying
Also stuck the lumber in the oven on 350 for about 20 minutes. Nice and dry again.
I also cut some lengths of the cotton twine that I bought and dunked it in Rit Tangerine dye for a few seconds then put it in the black wash for the wood. It came out pretty good. Will get some pics of that as soon as they dry.
Bridge building will begin in a bit. Waiting on a hot wire knife to arrive to gouge out the holes for the bridge posts.
