@WickedFog you can just use latex paint to seal your stream bed. It is waterproof and can be mixed to any color, much cheaper than flex seal and similar products.

I plan on painting the whole surface with Latex paint just to give it a protective coating.

I thought of that, but wasn't sure if it would hold up. I guess it would though being kinda like rubber though

Also stuck the lumber in the oven on 350 for about 20 minutes. Nice and dry again.

I also cut some lengths of the cotton twine that I bought and dunked it in Rit Tangerine dye for a few seconds then put it in the black wash for the wood. It came out pretty good. Will get some pics of that as soon as they dry.

Bridge building will begin in a bit. Waiting on a hot wire knife to arrive to gouge out the holes for the bridge posts.

Personally, I would pay a little more and get something a lot more durable and designed to handle flexion.
Then again, it's only a tiny 1/24 scale vehicle and only a gallon of water to be concerned with.

Model railroading man. I was heavy into it. I used to scratch build dioramas. Huge scratch built trestle bridges, twisted wire trees, etc. I can twist up a 1" tall tree armature and take a pic of it and you would almost swear it was a real dead tree. At least I used to be able to do that in my 20's. I have made hundreds of them, with some having hundreds of individual branches.

I also used to build styrene trucks. I took an N scale semi that would sit on a quarter and turned it into a snowplow dumptruck, all weathered and rusty. I absolutely LOVE building scale stuff. I just missed it over the last 8 years because ever since my cataract surgery I can't see worth a damn anymore. This scale is PERFECT!

Yeah, I have some Beige Plasti Dip coming just to try it out. It is a spray (only type I could get in beige). If that doesn't work I will get the clear Flex Seal. How thick is it in the can? Is it close to latex?

I learned most of what I know from building models, dioramas and customizing 1/6 scale action figures. You pick up lots of tips over the years. I always wanted a model railroad set up but never had the space to do it right.

Model railroad was one of the most enjoyable thing ever to build. I took mine down simply because I ran out of room. There is unlimited things that can be done with a model railroad.
I've lost all of the pics from another computer that crashed but I'm sure I can find some in other forums I can grab.

Edit: I found some pics but when I saved them to my desktop they were way to small and when I resized them, they distorted way too much.

And if I had to guess Id say the flex seal is something like latex in a can cuz when I sprayed it on the under edges of my shed the poop was thick almost like bedliner or something. well not that thick but it was very thick for being in a spray can.

Not glued down yet, but here is the rope bridge so far. Time for a break. Still have to tie the top ropes on then there will be a rope that zigzags between the upper and lower rope.

You get two wands. These things are vicious! They get super hot and slice right through the foam. A lot faster than the hot wire cutters.

I was hoping since it came with 2 wands you could bend one into a "U" shape to carve with it, but the wands are hardened metal. I think it will snap or possible break the wire connection inside. I kinda need a curved one as well, so I might have to buy yet another.

Got the top ropes tied on. Once I get this on the layout I will adust the tension. Next I gotta tie the upper and lower ropes together with a diagonal pattern.

The C10 wanted to give her a go. He said it needs to be tighter. She said needs to be bigger
