Worked on it more last night.
Needed a nut for the front body mount. Didn't have anymore. Was talking to my buddy and he said to trim a piece off one of the extra shock mount things I had

It worked great, and it was free

Also trimmed the rear fenders to get a bit more clearance for the tires

Need to work on attaching the carbon fiber decals better as you can see here.

Still tweakign the suspenion set up, and need to get a better mount set up on the rear. It just isn't that strong of an attachment, not sure why
Is that a PLA body? If so, trying to stick stuff to PLA is like you sprayed it with WD40 first. It reminds of Delrin. Slippery like self lubricating teflon.

To me, it looks like the rear links could be about 5mm longer without messing up the aesthetics. I really dig the look of vehicles with the rear axle pushed a bit extra rearward though, looking like those drag bikes with the stupid long trailing arm 😜

Yes, it's PLA. I used E600 for the magnets and it works great. Haven't tried painting anything yet, though. Other than wil paint markers. Those work well.

I want to get the other body on and see from there.

Like I said, the original plan for the Basecamp was to go with a pavement princess looks, while actually being reasonably capable. The current wheelbase actually fits the S10 body well.

I THINK I am going to attempt a beat up, trail truck/buggy look for this current, short body and a really clean, nice look on the S10 and have options

If you can find this glue... it actually melts OLA like regular plastic weld melts styrene. But it is terrible to breathe. And the entire bottle will evaporate in no time if you don't keep it closed up. So put it on thick if you try it. Maybe even try freezing it so it doesn't just vaporize. Best glue I have tried on PLA besides shoe goo. I just got some E600 to try, but have yet to use it on PLA.

I picked up the 2 part glue from Hobby Lobby
Where you put the activator on one side and th eglue on the ohter.

That stuff is amazing. It really is like welding plastic
