those are not mine, just a quick google SEARCH..

what ever happend to that guy that built the doughnut patrol and the pie wagon? those were about as close to home built nitro crawlers as I've seen.

its a good start of a design, there will have to be alot more into it but not a bad start.

that looks like timmah's moon buggy chassis. maybe he can give you some specs.

read through this...

he is the king, period.

that is as close to a nitro crawler type truck that i have seen.

that was a helluva lot of reading lol...that is AWSOME!!! but it's not really a crawler..i want to go more of a crawler type thing...that was more of a mt

Looks like a Hustler knock off

what's a hustler.....i just looked at a bunch of pic's on the internet then sorta combined all of them lol

ok guys i think i figured out a design i want to use for the frame...after literally hour's of sketching this is what i got:
framedesine.webp

so guys what do you think...is it an ok size or is it to big i REALLY need your guys' opinion cause i'm probobly going tomorrow to get the steel rod to build the proto-type...

Even if you couldn't there are places like RC Alloys that make custom driveshafts. Matter of fact, I have one on order from them now.

Now I'm not a big crawler guy so I can't speak much of the chassis design and suspension work, but my only issue with what you have planned so far is your powerplant. IMO, anything aside from a 4-stroke is a mistake. The FS26SCII is actually a very compact engine that offers MUCH more torque and consistant idle. One of the big advantages of the 4-stroke aside from the torque is it's ability to idle without "loading up". So if you need to just stop and think about your next move you don't have to worry about the engine loading up with fuel (as nitro 2-strokes do) when you get back to the gas. A nitro will want to bog if it is allowed to idle for any extended amount of time, this will make your re-entry to the throttle very inconsistant and the power will be unpredictable. It's not an extremely expensive engine either.. $200 at Tower.

can you give me a link?(for the engine and for the place that does driveshafts).....for building purposes cause this is just a proto-type thing i'll just be using a spare os.15 that i have..this engine has never even been broken in, i bought it cause i thought the one in my buggy was toste but i got it running again so i have a spare engine sitting here...

Can't wait too see how why turns out! Keep up the good work!!

what?? sorry i'm really tired and not understanding that lol...did you meen: Can't wait to see how it turn's out! Keep up the good work!!?? if so than thank you very much...it took a helluva time to figure out a desine that I liked lol....now i need some more comments on if this frame is a good size or not..
