Was offered a job today... seems my middle son happened to mention to the local gun shop on Saturday that I was retired... so when I stopped by there today, the owner asked if I was interested in working a couple days a week. I think my wife is involved in this somewhere 'cause her reaction when I told her, makes her a clear suspect.

I've just been watching stuff and looking at stuff in my room this afternoon, I also started thinking about getting myself an older brushless edition E-Revo 1.0 maybe soon i found one that was a complete RTR and a few rollers for sale on eBay after watching videos about them made me want one.

Yeah, I'm kind on the fence myself as much as i want it it's probably not a good idea to get an old out of production car that wasn't had new parts made in years. Maybe i should stay on target and get that X-Maxx Ultimate i want.

So, more details yesterday... they want me to work 19 hours a week (two full days, plus 3 hours on Saturday) for a salary of $400. One of the perks is I can buy one gun a month at cost (told the wife that was mandatory ).

They want me to cover the retail store so the full-time guys can work in the back (shipping and receiving) without interruption. Most of the gun makers have incentive programs these days where you can win free guns for selling product. Only takes about 12 sales to earn the lowest tier, of course, the more you sell the more expensive gun you can get.

The two full time employees both ignore that incentive because it requires a bit of extra work, (have to upload the sales receipts to the manufacturer's account each day).

The place is only about three miles from home, so I am considering it. Don't really need the money but the wife would love to have me out of 'her' house more than I have been lately.

I mostly hung out today did grocery shopping with my Dad and my step brother also watched some videos both RC and non RC related. I think i might not bother with get an original brushless edition E-Revo as much as i want one it might not be a good idea giving how old they are and parts support is slowly diminishing over time.
