It got up over 30˚ today so I headed to the range with my Henry pump .22 and my S&W 317-3 Kit Gun and burned up a few hundred rounds of rimfire.

I have been a juror on a murder trial for the last 6 weeks. It ended today with our verdict.
Whatcom County Washington-Alex Vanags.
Original incident; April 2019.
Guilty manslaughter 1.
When you Google this don't look at the pictures if you don't have a strong stomach. He used a machete.

7 years to get tried seems ridiculous. The system needs some revisions.

This is the third trial. The first two were murder 2 or nothing. They ended in hung juries.
Did he mean to kill Mark or did he just freak out on LSD with a machete? We went with manslaughter 1. They're 2 best friends who were going to camp out for the night and do a butt load of LSD and beer. We know they got into a fight. They didn't prove intent to kill so we went with manslaughter 1. He'll probably serve 7-10 years minus time served, 15 months.

Cleaning up in the hobby room and found enough parts to build a new toy...
.22LR, 4.5" barrel with a blast can to clear the hand-guard.

Assembled my first gaming figure today, next step prime, then paint. Really nice detail and really well thought out engineering, the fit is excellent and the seams are very well hidden.

I will airbrush the primer, then decide which route I want to go with the paint.

Dragons don't typically get bashed, they tend to fly around and rain hellfire down on the ground troops.

But since I don't actually game, I guess it doesn't make much difference.

Although this might sort of count as an rc thing but i did a firmware update to my Spektrum DX6C to make into a DXC+ with all of the new options and 12 channel capability. Using the PC programmer\update software similar to what i did last year when i first updated it to also use the SLT protocol also had to rewatch the video posted by Horizon to jog my memory on how to do the update. But it's done now.
