me and my dad changed the alternator on my moms car (2003 Camry). pretty straight forward job, was surprised actually. cars idling low, but the battery is holding 12.2/12.3v at idle and if you rev it up, it gets up to 14.3v so its charging. (battery is also new) so idk. hoping the low idle fixes it self after some driving (it was driven about 10 miles with a bad alternator so... computers man, wtf.)

and of course after we finished the 10mm socket was missing. we had to go looking for it. found it! it rolled off the table and into the neighbors driveway


and i sprayed for bugs in the backyard cause the dog keep getting flees. i sprayed a spider and it didn't die. so idk how good that poison is.

Try this professional grade stuff. Most insecticide are not kill on contact, unlike the bee and wasp stuff which attacks the nervous system.

Yesterday was dress rehearsal for teh annual Christmas play. We always do a play they Sunday afternoon before Christmas.

Usually it's original written by one of us. My plan for this year was to do a spin on the Grinch. That was my plan since before we even performed last year's play.

But as the year when on, my heart was changed and we are doing the actual Christmas story - the events leading up to a n including Jesus's birth.
Starting with some of the prophecies and ending with the departing of the wisemen.

Usually I am the narrator - I have been told I have a face for radio - but this year I have two small parts. I am doing Simeon in the temple, and one of the wisemen - of course, the one that actually has a line.
Today is the big day, we'll see how it goes

Today I went and visited a freind who is in a healthcare facility. He has been in there for five weeks now. They won't let him go home unless there is someone there with him full time.
Most of those places are where they send you to die. A little depressing. But he was glad to see me...I think he might have stripped a gear...nobody is happy to see me under normal circumstances.

When I got home It was 71° outside, so I talked Mrs. Doom into going for a short walk, we are both really out of shape after all she's been through, our lives have kind of been on hold. It felt nice to get out.

When we got back we let the cats out in the back yard for some fresh air too. They appreciated that.

I've worked the last 3 Saturdays, so it actually felt really good to catch up on some chores. Between chores, I goofed around with some backyard airgun plinking....

I got to play some Gran Turismo 7 on the PS4 and some Cars: The Video Game on my Xbox 360 today. I forgot how many credits i had in GT7 but when i started the game i had almost 4.3 million credits.

I also got to refurbish my Xbox 360 tonight also played Forza Motorsport 4 for the first time and won every race in the amateur division with my first car in the game a Toyota Aygo which is a car i've never seen before and apparently it was a European market car.
