Cut down the second tree. It actually had 3 trunks. One was leaning over the house and the other 2 over the fence with the neighbours caravan on the other side, so it was a bit more involved. We were working against gravity.

Got help from my brother and his winch on his Landcruiser. We blocked off the road and successfully dropped all three trees exactly where planned. No damage or injuries. We worked like pro's. Good thing because all the neighbours had a look at one stage.

2 large trailer loads to the waste facility and back to clean up the mess.

I've always thought lemon trees are small like under 15ft. How tall were your trees?

My lemon tree is at least 5-6m (16ft) high. The trees out front of my house was probably 3 times that. Taller than my house. Maybe 15-18 meters. The trees out front weren't lemon trees.

Oh, ok, I though they were all lemon trees that you fell.

No the lemon tree is still standing. I just gave it a haircut. It was getting too heavy and I was worried it would split in half. One of the trees out front I cut down to the about house gutter height (it will grow back) and the other with one with 3 trunks is now a stump. Digging out the stump will be a job for another day, of which I'm not looking forward to.

Good job on the trees, that would have stressed me out big time. Diggin' the new avatar! :thumbs-up:

....I don't do Halloween....
Confused Little Girl GIF

Leaf and acorn blowing duty. Afterwards, I decided to do a little tuning to one of my air guns. Then finished up with a bit of cornhole practice. I may be joining a league soon.
Now, I'm watching the Seahawks vs Buffalo game.

But it's the best Holiday!
Only about one in four Australians celebrate Halloween. It's not as popular over here but has gained popularity over time. We as a family never celebrated it. Plus, I grew up on a rural farm so there were no neighbours to trick or treat. Our current neighbourhood doesn't do it either.

It's a mainly an American holiday. I reckon 9/10 Australians wouldn't even know why it's celebrated. I've got nothing against it, just never been involved.
