Mrs. X and I were planning to head to a Maine beach to meet up with some friends who are do their annual camping out, but with the weather looking wet, we had decided to not go.
Since we were just hanging out at home, I got some home stuff done: garbage run to the transfer station; gardening maintenances; got 3 of the 5 vehicles tire pressure set to specs; straightened up a section of my tool area in the basement; pruned a neighbor's evergreen tree (that they planted right on the property line) limbs that encroaches well over onto my lawn, depriving my grass of sunlight and dropping a ton of needles onto my lawn and making that area's soil acidic and grass unfriendly.

Met up with 5 other cycling buddies this morn and rode the Grand Mesa here in Western Co. Up to the top at 10,829 ft, then back down. 40 mile round trip, 5,300 ft of climbing. Fantastic way to spend a Saturday morn!
I did get a PR coming down, and that put me at #24 of all time, I am right at 2 minutes off fastest all time recorded on Strava. Head wind coming down today, so that slowed me a little, I just couldnt crack 50 mph this time. I have hit 60 mph coming down before 😃

Glorious day with good friends, just doesn't get any better 👍

went and got a haircut. apparently i do have ears!

Yes! It is ALWAYS raining at Maine beaches and EVERYONE should stay home!!!

(It was a rainy day here. Good call!)

What's next weekend, scaling Mt. Everest? I mean seriously, didn't you just do a Triathalon last weekend.
Haha! No, not Everest for me...next week is likely a run on the beach in Hawaii 🤞🏻😁.
And yes, I did do the triathlon last weekend.
I've got an Olympic distance Tri in August, then Ironman 70.3 in September. So just two bigger races, then it'll taper a little in the fall.
Though, I'll likely do a half marathon 🤔

You should talk to a therapist, so you can find out what your running from. 🤣

You might fool me once, with that twinkie on the end of a stick trick, but I'm not falling for it twice.....oh look a twinkie!

Slightly RC related but I went yesterday to an RC market for fuel, tires, an exhaust and some batteries. There were about ten little cox engines but someone bought them all right in front me. Someone was selling OS wankel engines, I never thought I'd see one🙂
