built a stand to hold/display/use my pocket watch as a clock. made it from wooden dowels. had to use super glue cause i was out of wood glue. I'm thinking i need to sand and stain it cause its to lightly colored compared to the watch (also wood)
need to get a battery for the watch as well.

Swapped snow tires to summer on Focus, got a bunch of landscaping done and got the porch furniture set up.

I am pretty happy with this weekend's progress!

I just got back from a quick camping trip last night with my cousin. Got some new gear I wanted to try out before the trip with the wife next weekend. Despite the rain this morning, it went pretty well.

Recently, I've taken an interest in gardening. Been watching a lot of YT video on growing veggies. With the day off, today I picked up some supplies and set up some tomatoes and basil.
Also, did some tidying up around the house, and dropped off garbage and recyclables at the town transfer station. Very productive day!

Only prepped 2 this year. Hope to get some stuff in the ground this weekend

I'm just testing the water, so I'm going with cloth containers and about 10 veggie varieties. If I'm successful and still maintain interest, I'll build a more permanent raised bed(s) structure next year.

Yeah, you can't buy vegetable anywhere near that quality from the stores. Every bit of that looks like you loved growing it.

I also did a water change and scrubbed algae yesterday on my 75gal. I used to be really into fishkeeping, and had at one point, 5 tanks running. Largest being a 180. Now, I'm down to just a 75.
