Here again, do a little research! Canada does not pay health insurance they pay taxes and the govt takes care of them.

No disrespect, but I said if you don't have insurance DOWN HERE(Meaning the United States of America), then you'd better move to Canada because they have free health insurance...the only downside with thier system is they're taxed to death.

Just do us a favor stay in school and pay attention in class!

I've heard some pretty negitive stuff towards Canada's health care system. They put you on wait list and some people have died because of it for things that could have had something done about. Now don't get me wrong, their our neighbors and I have nothing against them personaly. I've even been to Canada before, It's an awsome place to visit for sure and the exchange rate is pretty cool for us over there. I think it was like 1.65 to our bux when I was there. My only complaint about Canada, is the whole buying fuel in Litters :OMG: I pulled into a station where a sign said .75 and thought, this is so cool. Then I found out, it was per liter which was like 2.3 to our one gallon.

Ray

P.s Huge I would let you stay here but you would probaly go insane with how flatt and hot it is here. It's January and we've already had two 85 plus days so far.

Ya...I couldn't handle 85 deg.-are you kidding!

Actually, if it's an emergency you get in. But ya it has occured. But it must happen in the US, esp. if you can't afford it. Doesn't happen that often, but sadly, you are right. But people always have the choice of going to the states if they don't want to wait. My sister-in-law had her MRI done there because she had to wait 3 months.
Hey, you trying paying for gas here. It's been up to 1.80 per litre awhile back. The war is what causes the fluctuation for Canada.
But ya...our dollar is worth 85.5 right now. It's lowest was around 65. Your dollar has always been worth more here. Always will be probably. The US is really what sets the stage for all the other countries. I'm proud to be your neighbours even though I don't necessarily agree with the politics. Our countries are definitely different in the way we live and think but I think that's what makes our relationship interesting. I wouldn't want to friends with another me either. Boring.
Anyway, I live in Canada and you think I'd have a problem with that during our winter? Our summers are that hot and hotter but winter sucks!
:2cents: :)

I remember going to Canada and tipping with USD, you'd swear you were giving away GOLD! In Montreal, well never mind....LOL Something about $1 USD bills and...ughhh. I also remember when it was like that in Europe, and that wasn't too long ago, now nobody takes greenbacks over there except the little Parisian bastage that found the $100 bill I dropped somewhere along the Champs Elysses.
