The parts may be made in Taiwan, but all my kits say made in China. Tekin is located in Idaho. But all their electronics are made overseas. Where the headquarters is these days makes absolutely no difference, clearly, since your parts say made in Taiwan.

I can't begin to imagine why a Japanese based company would claim 'Made in China'.
I heard the same, Kyosho is chinese now. I can find NO info on Kyosho's site about China anywhere.
Its clearly a global economy now. Parts are sourced from everywhere for everything.
I HOPE as long as Kyosho remains based in Japan as a Japanese company, Chinese tariffs will NOT apply and not affect my resto.

I guess, with Axial, we'll always have RPM and Treal.
RPM: USA
Treal: I think Germany (?)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
It's ok. Treal has great customer service, and they make nice stuff. But these days, I prefer Injora. Also Chinese.

Yeah, Injora is pretty good...
I thought Treal was German cuz they use German made bearings (heard it in a Kevin Talbot video).

Japan is in the same boat as other industialized countries these days. I believe Japan has the highest foreign debt right now.

Wouldn't it be weird to have an actual American RC? 😎
A new one*
RJ Speed. they're a US based company and claim on there website that there stuff is made in the US.

hell iv been around so long i can remember when AE and Losi stuff said made in USA on the labels. then prices went up and quality went down... funny how that works.

Mine was made in China. It was on of the early on models, so things may have changed?

I you really want to know, you can send them an email and they will tell you.

From our perspective, it's only $$, reflected in the price, if that. Unless you order it directly from China, you are not personally responsible for payment of the tariff. The receiver has to take care of it. They will likely pass it on to the consumer.
