Hello,
My first post after I introduced myself. :)
I bought this 1/10 crawler over 12 years ago from a local rc shop, Larry's RC in sterling heights Michigan, the old location before they moved.
The body is original but I did add fender flares and the receiver and ESC are original. The front bumper and rear bumper are upgrades, the rear bumper I made myself along with the mounts. The front bumper is RC4WD I think but I had to make the frame mounts. I have looked up the electronics with no luck, all types of searches with no luck. Does anyone have any knowledge of who made this? I cannot remember at all. Been a long time.
I never really got much time running this, almost all use was in my basement.

That looks like an SCX10 transmission.
I wonder if it was custom or an aftermarket chassis someone put all those components on.

Could you give us a few pictures of the transmission case and axles?

There might be some markings on them.

The trans was swapped as the original had issues. I think it is a SCX10 knock off from amazon. this was in a box with a window display and all. from Larrys rc. I'll get some more pics.

Cool cool!

Those fender flares look like they came from an Axial Dingo kit.

That also looks like an Axial servo horn.

I'm going to say this is a clone from the late 2000's based on the fact it has no markings anywhere and is compatible with SCX10 parts.

Perhaps someone else can provide you with more information.

The servo and horn and even mount I did change. My apologies. It had a plastic arm before I do remember that.

Okay, that makes sense.

I still feel strongly about what it is. The fact you could just drop an SCX10 transmission into it and everything lined up says a lot. The holes on the skid lined up, the shaft outputs and angles, etc.

I just want to be clear I think this thing is cool!
It's neat to see a complete example from back then.

The original trans was junk, you can see it has not been abused or even run a lot. I took a shot and order the trans and it did line right up. The frame horns not scx10 inspired. Larrys RC had 2 or 3 colors, this in blue a red version and black I think. The wheels are beadlock inner and outer as well.

The body does have a few RC4WD decals on it, I cannot remember if I applied or not. The motor was a blank metal can and I installed the RC4WD motor when I changed the trans.

Folks, pretty sure that's a bingo!
Yes for sure. I think it is. You can see the servo was mounted right on top of the front axle and it drove me crazy so I relocated above on the frame. The steering link is still not 100% right, when you turn left it pulls the suspension down, not to scale in my opinion.
