Hey guys, this is my first thread on this site (or any RC site for that matter). I own a XTM XT2...and i'm using the factory Pistol grip remote. My question is about the volt reading on the remote. I'm too lazy to buy AA rechargeables and a charger so I just use your standard AA batteries...I notice that the voltmeter obviously goes down the more I use it...and right now it is at 10.9v's....how low should I run the batteries before replacing them??? Thanks.

Some radios beep or vibrate to warn you of low batteries. If not, 9V is about the bottom. It's not a matter of being too lazy, but it's a real waste of money to keep feeding alkaline batts to the system. Rechargeable is the way to go.
You should also invest in a fail safe to avoid a runaway.
