My Wife just got me a Rc10 Gt Plus on ebay and its ready to run except for it needs a new pull start. I was wondering if some one could tell me what one I need for it. I would like to order it now so it will get here when I get the truck and can go out and run it. I dont even know what size motor comes in these  It my second nitro I have ever owened I am so excited lol. I will post pics when I get it thanks again for the advice I got from the guys who helped me choose a new ride. I would have probally ended up with a pos that breaks all the time, more than my Maxx lol and I wouldnt have been able to get parts for it.

ok, well could you give me the ebay item number and I can look and see. You said you dont know what engine is in it? That matters on what pullstart to get...Please reply with the eBay item number and we can help identify it.

Jesse, chances are its the stock AE 15, i'd get a hold of Justin at HT and have him order one in for you, although he might have them in stock. You could order one online, but after you pay the price plus shipping, it'll wind up costing you more then going through HT. You might need a new one way bearing for it too, but wait until you get it first, because I believe that I have one of those here, but the pull starter I had is broke, and unfixable.

You could opt for a starter box as well.
Cool I diddnt even know you could use one on it :) . For now I need to get it going the cheapest way for now. I was lucky the wife was willing to get me the truck in the first place money is tight now. Thanks for the imput though I will defiently keep that in mind for the future.

Jesse, Even from that picture I can tell that it has the stock AE15 in it. I like those engines, the one in my wifes GT is now over 3 years old and still running strong! The job is going great, it's keeping me almost to busy! LOL

Cool thanks Dirtracingfool I had no idea what it was lol I just have been told the Rc10 is an awesome truck and after seein the pics of yours I wanted one lol. SO is the AE15 engie fast, I mean will to be able to open a can of woop ass on my .15 T-Maxx? I hope so lol. Thats cool your job is going good. Have you gotten the oval racer fixed yet? We should get together and go do some bashing when I get the Gt. I wish I had it now lol. I was really suprised how much cheaper upgrades are for it compared to my Maxx. I mean I found a brandnew AE.15 engine for 50 bucks!! I can already see the upgrade addiction coming on with this baby lol.

How could you tell if that is the stock engine in it? All you can see is the body and some of the chassis. You can even really see the motor head.

Jesse, looks like a nice car. I wouldnt have bought it with that little information. But good luck and keep us posted on how it works out.

I know its a short discription but I couldnt find many going for that price and my wife actually bough it for me, I told her what I wanted and we went from there. If anything I can build it up like I did with my Maxx and I will have a good start with it and know exactly what I have when I'm finished with it. I also got free shipping with it so thats a bonus most people charge 20 -30 bucks

NICE....you'll love that thing man...they will definately make you a better driver for when you get a buggy....ooops did I say when, I meant if.....

Seeing this GT makes me miss mine :(

I bet I can't wait to get mine. I have only had one nitro my T-Maxx and its fun but not the best and handling lol. My boys have electric rustlers and thats how I fell in love with the Stadium trucks those things are a blast making them drift around corners and spinning dohnuts lol mmmmm Dohnuts!!!

Someday I will get a buggy for sure... did I say that out loud? lol. I just love stadium trucks and missed my electric after giving it to my son. I can't wait to drive the nitro one. We now have 3 stadium trucks should be fun. I just got the parts for my oldest son,s rusty from Olds he is driving me nuts asking when we are going to get it going hehe

Sweet deal on that GT! (i got mine for $150 :p: ) the first thing you are gonna want to do is bring it to your lhs and ask for they guy who knowes the most about cars. Ask him to inspect it to see if anything is wrong (ir, throttle linkage, wiring, etc) so that when u start it (if it even starts) it wont go flying etc. I suggest you buy a RPM front bumper and rpm rod ends. those will keep you running. I did a HUGE wipeout and my rpm bumper saved my car. no breakage at all (much stronger than a xxx-nt, you'll love it). just my :2cents:

I can understand why you'd ask that, but after maintaining one for over three years, and helping more newbies then I can count tune and dial in their AE15's, it becomes easy to spot one. The stock head on those engines is a dead give away, just like the stock heads on most brands of .12 and .15 engines. Plus having 15+ years of running nitro under my belt helps. :hehe:

sure it helped when he said all was stock but the rear tires LOL

I'll stand behind DRF on this one. Looking at the pic you can only see a small portion of the cooling head, but it's a dead giveaway. I had a GT RTR for a few years and that cooling head looks like no other.
If you're looking for the pullstart, it's this one:

And yes, it will easily outrun your Maxx. So no wrecking it. AND NO HURLING!
