How to find upgrades thru original part numbers DBXL-E 2.0

Hi!

I all new to the wonderful world of RC and also new to be a part of a Great forum like this one, I hope that it is okay to upload 12 pictures asking for upgrades.

I wonder if there is a list where you could find upgrades by searching in Losi DBXL-E 2.0 original? I want upgrades from plastic parts to aluminium or carbon fiber.

Some companies like Vitavon might have something for you. A lot of those pieces pictured I'd probably keep as composite for more "give" especially the bumper components.

Adding aluminum is going to add a lot of weight. Weight is going to make collisions and such hit a lot harder, and it will be a lot more wear and tear on everything, including the electronics.

Honestly, unless you just want bling, sometimes it's better to see what breaks before you go replacing it all with aluminum. I owned a DBXLE-2.0 for a while and it was pretty durable for what it is. It jumps really well and can handle some rollovers. Just remember if you treat it like an Xmaxx it will break no matter what upgrwada you put on it.

My big problem is that I like thee bling factor Probably take the car out for walks when the sun is shining.

Never tried Taylor RC, they had some parts I really needed. Any more tips?

DDM racing is pretty good for spare parts and upgrades. They are out of Utah, so you don't have to pay tax. You can also get 5% off most stuff with the code 5sc.

Is the Losi DBXL-E 2.0 not a good RC car? When I started to look for a 1/5 it was the DBXL that most people recommended...

I personally think the DBXL-E 2.0 is a great RC. I had a few issues with mine that I considered minor. In my opinion, it is not a hardcore basher. That being said, it handles great and flies through the air very level. I just don't think it will hold up long if you are sending it off huge jumps because that is not what the rig is meant for.

I've seen people that post that it the DBXL-E 2.0 is a bad rig... then they also say they stuck a 12s setup in it and full send it... what do you think will happen? Lol
