How many of you spend time in the toy aisle?

I had a good friend years ago that had a son who was mentally challenged and every time I showed up for a visit, he would go out to my truck
and grab my binoculars and sit on the porch and have a great time with them.
He had a bucket full of Hotwheels and Matchbox cars and could pull them out one by one and tell you the exact model and year the car was.
Amazing kid, I called him sport and he called me spot because he couldn't pronounce sport.

I saw a cop in Boston on a horse and fell in love with the idea. We were there for a Redsocks game. I was in Kindergarten. It was fun to talk to him. 😁

It's so cute he thinks the kid was trying to call him sport too 😁

I read that the brighter the frog the more poisonous it is. Think the skin can be toxic. 🤷‍♂️ .
Especially the blue poison dart frog. Most deadliest frog in the world.

They secrete a coating through their skin that is extremely toxic.
There was a time when I thought about keeping dart frogs, but never went through with it. It takes up quite a bit of time, especially having to raise its food(fruit flies and baby crickets) and/or catching insects in the wild.
Also, inlike other frogs, dart frogs can't swim.

I went to Walmart Thursday to get a paint pen. That's it. I couldn't help myself looking over at the toy aisle & thinking- Hot Wheels- No no no, not today, keep walking. Then on the way out, the fish isle registered in my sight. I use to keep a few fish. One of them was pretty large. Can't remember what type it was- it really looked like a mini piranha & was reddish. It would eat goldfish. Not the sucker catfish looking cleaners though.

It was a Pacu!!! Yes that was it! I got it at a fish store! Not Walmart. It was little when I got it ate special fish food. It got about 4" plus long & started eating the others. I had a pretty large tank.

I had a pacu when I was younger. Kept it in a 55gal. tank until it got too big to turn around in the tank. It was HUGE!! 😳

Walmart still sells fish? All the ones around here quit several years ago. It may be something in Arkansas

Lol. I downloaded a Pacu pic as well, but I was like... no way Walmart is selling Pacu's 😆
It's unfortunate, but pacus are commonly found at pet box stores like Petco and Petmart. Pacus should only be sold at specialty shops, where the hobbyists are more advanced, and knows what they're getting into.
I used to be fairly hardcore into fish keeping. With my largest tank being 180gal. It housed a 2ft long giant gourami, "Snowflake".

Ya know you're probably right. They rearranged our WM last year & I only go in there once a month, maybe. It was the pet isle that caught my eye, but for whatever reason, I thought about fish.
