How many of you spend time in the toy aisle?

Ya know you're probably right. They rearranged our WM last year & I only go in there once a month, maybe. It was the pet isle that caught my eye, but for whatever reason, I thought about fish.
WM stores runs somewhat independently. I live around 5 stores within 20min of each other. Prices on the same product may vary from store to store.

It's unfortunate, but pacus are commonly found at pet box stores like Petco and Petmart. Pacus should only be sold at specialty shops, where the hobbyists are more advanced, and knows what they're getting into.
I used to be fairly hardcore into fish keeping. With my largest tank being 180gal. It housed a 2ft long giant gourami, "Snowflake".

Yeah, I used to have a dozen or so tanks in my living room alone, and one bedroom was nothing but fish tanks. I raised cichlids and lots of other fish. Every exotic fish I could find, I had. Except the Snake Head. Those things are beasts. I even had Siamese fighting fish in a community tank. They were so cool when they were in a large tank with other fish. I managed to breed them a couple times.

My Oscars were favs. I had some really big ones. The local aquarium still has the last ones I raised I bet. They were about 2 years old when I gave them to them, and that was 10 years ago. They put them in an 800 gallon tank.

One of my other favorites was the African Butterfly. Such a cool looking fish. But they hung around at the top, which meant you kinda needed them in a tank where the top of it was at a good viewing level.

That's the cheapest I've ever seen them.
I thought as much. That's why I took the picture to show you guys. That is awfully cheap for a Hot Wheels vehicle I thought to myself. I could've spent $50 plus right then and there no questions asked. 🤣🤘

I don't buy Hot Wheels or Matchbox, but I do often go through this aisle getting to the restrooms at my local Walmart. I recalled HW being less than a dollar.

They were $.49 when I used to collect them.

No, I meant rather recently. Like when Dollar Tree was still all for $1. I recall noting that Walmart was still cheaper than $ Tree.

As I mentioned, I'm not, and have not been, a HW aficionado so I'm not aware of the pricing, past or present, of the HW models. It just caught my eye that the HW vehicles in the bin were only $1.18 each. I thought it was a good price for HWs. I appreciate all the great input regarding HW pricing. 😎👍. I'm more learned. 😁
