Make sure when you put your diff cover on, you get all four screws just touching the cover. Then you can gradually ( a tiny bit at a time) start to tighten the screws. I would suqqest a criss cross pattern...i.e, top left, bottom right, top right, bottom left. You may have tightened the cover down too much on one corner or other. The issue you are having sounds the same as when i did my rear diff on my revo. I put 50k oil in mine and knew it should feel stiff, but geez it was crazy stiff. I pulled apart and removed cover made sure all was correct, and was very careful upon tightening the cover on. Remember these are only plastic. A lil torque goes a long way...
