Kiddo and I got in a run today! Its was warm, dry and sunny. Beautiful day!!!
The Gorgon ran flawlessly as usual although I've managed to misplace a battery for it. I need to buy batteries anyways.
CNHL G plus were on sale for around 2/50, 120c 5500 I think. Seemed not bad.
The Granite...
I replaced the rear bearings axle shaft, pin and hex. Stock rear tires on back.
In thr front, a narrower pair of Duratrax belted.
Anyone who owns a Granite will tell you, steering isn't great.
The narrow tires make a HUGE difference!!!
LOTS of steering, even at speed. The need for a better servo saver/servo are clear but it wasn't sad to drive anymore... thats a HUGE WIN!!!
Hey... I have a question for you all...
How do you know when you've been off road RC'ing in Maine???
The Granite absolutely RIPPED all thru the run, no broken parts!!!
The body... eh, that is gonna need some love!
I've been looikng forward to this all week! I'm SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! We had fun today!!!
