Kiddo and I got in a run today! Its was warm, dry and sunny. Beautiful day!!!
The Gorgon ran flawlessly as usual although I've managed to misplace a battery for it. I need to buy batteries anyways.
CNHL G plus were on sale for around 2/50, 120c 5500 I think. Seemed not bad. 🤷‍♀️

The Granite...
I replaced the rear bearings axle shaft, pin and hex. Stock rear tires on back.
In thr front, a narrower pair of Duratrax belted.
Anyone who owns a Granite will tell you, steering isn't great. 😐
The narrow tires make a HUGE difference!!! 😍
LOTS of steering, even at speed. The need for a better servo saver/servo are clear but it wasn't sad to drive anymore... thats a HUGE WIN!!! 😁

Hey... I have a question for you all...
How do you know when you've been off road RC'ing in Maine???

The Granite absolutely RIPPED all thru the run, no broken parts!!!
The body... eh, that is gonna need some love! 🤣

I've been looikng forward to this all week! I'm SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! We had fun today!!! 😎😁👍

:hehe:

I'm super stoked for you guys!!!! That's awesome.
Need to make some run videos for us
Yeah, I have been thinking about some camera upgrades for the forum here and maybe film some races when I unrust myself... if ever! 🙄 Maybe I can make it around the track without denting a brick. 🤣
Thanks!!! It afternoon was just what I'd hoped for! 😁 ❤️

I'm still in shock over here! I can't believe we made it thru, no breakage! I def dinged a tree or 9! 🤣
Damned kids took me for another $75 in pizza tonight too!!! 😲🤣
Heck of a day!!! 😍

Man that's awesome! Glad those tires worked great on the front! Cool.
They make a HUGE improvement in steering, also though, it hooks up better... when the front end is on the ground anyways. 🤣
Thanks!!! 😎

That looks like it could be a fire hazzard.

Glad you had a good day.

I brought it back outside and shook all the big chunks off before Mrs Certified even noticed that big mess was on the kitchen counter! 😉👍
This chassis sure does collect good kindling though! 🤣

Awesome! Glad you guys got to get out and enjoy. I need to find some place new to run my Gorgon, my usual spot is currently tall weeds. Hope your weekend weather holds out for some more sessions. One can always hope.

The leave and stick collection actually came from me showing Kiddo where I hope to lay out our new track some day! We blazed a path thru the rough stuff with 3s powah!!! 😎
I think I could make it fun for MT's as well as my 1/10 scale buggies. Right now tho, its mostly dead leaves, sticks and such... 🤷‍♀️🤣
🤞 For tomorrow, early runs!

Well, I'm glad it was real... fun. 🤪 🤪

$75 sounds like a good price to get to spend that kind of good time with the young un.

Trust me, it gets costlier as they grow!
They aren't so young but they'll always be Kiddos to me. 😉
$75 was nothing for the fun we all had today/tonight. 😎

My youngest turned 40 last month, his oldest just got his drivers license and first job (Whataburger)... Hard to believe... it all happened so quick!! :hehe:

Whataburger moved out in 2009. Last time I had it. 😕
