i got the pinion in.
i got the wrong pinion tho lol,
this is my life.

i looked at the exploded view, Axial uses an

ARRMA Pinion Gear, 14T HD Mod1 Safe-D5​

so i found that in a 12t and its in the cart, gonna order it friday

this gear diameter is too narrow, the arrma gear is wider, no matter which slot i set the motor in it wouldnt reach the spur gear

ii got the right pinion in and dizamn did it make a difference!!
he's much stronger now, before i could tow myself on the wagon but it was a littl tough, i couldnt stand on the wagon and surf but now??!!??!!
i surfed all around the block, ran thru an entire pack and never got above 110 deg.
it didnt seem much slower, but it did seem much smoother. i think the 12t is definately the way to go.

i had to add the lead weight to the front bumbper as i kept making the front lift off the ground, it is hefty and fully compresses the springs o no!!!!

nay consider looking for a set of stiffer springs for the scx6, I'm sure their out there somewhere lol
