First 10th scale! SCX10iii

I’ve got a handful of mini crawlers, figured I’d grab a 10th scale truck to add to the garage…

Decided to get the SCXiii base camp with the black K10 Chevy body.

Really excited about the truck, looking forward to hitting some trails!

I didn’t like the look of the chrome wheels, so I painted the centers black, almost looks like stock Chevy rally wheels with chrome rings and center caps if you squint just right… The white letter tires are just testors paint- they won’t hold up to actual use, but I have plans for new wheels and tires, so the factory wheels will be “for display purposes only”…
