I see that crawlers (scale) come in different sizes, just wondering aside from the 1/10th scale what size is popular? And what size under 1/10th has the most options?

Ya, Axial SCX24 (1/24) & Traxxas TRX4M (1/18) are kinda the old standbys. I love my deadbolt scx24 until they discontinued it😢...why we don't know except that it's Horizon Hobby🤷🏻‍♂️...Parts are available everywhere to the point you can scratch build one with no Axial or Traxxas parts even needed.
Redcats 1/18 stuff is up and coming looks like. I've got redcats and Axials. Haven't gotten around to a TRX4M build yet.
FMS and HPI have some tempting stuff too. So many awesome crawlers out there! I suppose it will depend mostly on where you plan to run as to what you run

When I first started looking at other sizes apart form 1/10th, I couldn't believe the choices. But now after some quick researching I believe I'm looking toward the 1/18th scale. I'm thinking I an build a pretty good track for it in my basement which is a plus here in Michigan, especially this time of year!!!!

Just one word of caution... those itty-bitty models use itty-bitty screws... I looked at them and with the thought of having to work on them, decided they weren't for me.

On the other hand, they are less awkward to handle when working on because of the size. ;)

Meus parts are really great! Mofo makes really good stuff too. For random parts Etsy works really great. The best part about doing a build is you really can't go wrong. The more you build the better you get. Good luck and post pics! 🤙
