Ok, so the lowdown is like this. We have 6 cars total. 2 touring, 2 stock and 2 F1. The stock cars are by far the worst handling, they have a lot of body roll and just about anytime they go off track it's because they "push". The touring cars are the most forgiving and entertaining. They will sling aroung tight corners and handle high speed turns as well as the stockers do, at least from what I can tell so far, I havn't built Dega yet because it won't fit in that room. LOL! The F1 cars are handsdown the most difficult to drive. They have a longer wheelbase than the stock cars (stock cars have a longer WB than TC's) but they are significantly narrower. They need to be finesseded through the really tight stuff more than TC's but they REALLY shine in medium arc turns. Obviously, they look great on a track like this as well, as do the TC's. The onething I like about the F1 cars is how they will spin out so easilly rather than push off the track on corner exit. TC's will spin too but are much more forgiving than formula cars. It's a lot of fun really, when a TC get loose out of a turn many times they will simply catch and zoom off whereas a formula cars will sometims actually fishtail back and forth before it finds all of it's grip. I thnk that is due to the working steering. Anyways, this slot car stuff is a blast and I encourage anybody to pick up a set if you're looking for something different to do this winter.
