I admire those who restore 1/1 scale vehicles. :thumbs-up:
I also have a 1987 Toyota Tercel 4wd wagon that needs a little love. I inherited it from my grandpa. Before he passed away, he supposedly ran it out of oil driving from sisters Oregon to Willamette Oregon. The car is currently in sisters Oregon, on my uncles property. It’s a cute little 5 speed manual, 4 banger. I plan to put some dinky little 29 inch off-road tires and have it as a daily, as it gets around 30 mpg. Next time I’m down there I’ll get some pics!

dug this thread up for todays dream car.

I was a Camaro guy when young... I had a '69 w/350 automatic and a '68 convertible w/327 Powerglide; both well-used and kind of ratty. So, my dream car would be a like-new 1969 Z28.

Love the '69 Camaros. Which means a lot because I'm a Ford guy. :p

If I had to layout my "would love to own" dream cars I would have to say it's these;

Rented a 6spd in Vegas 15 years ago. Loved it!
Super comfortable, surprisingly good on fuel if you followed the shift pattern it laid out for you.

I don't need to say anything, do I?

Gosh darn those 911's look good 😊

I was actually looking at C6s last summer. The reason I was going that way are for the reasons I listed above, but if it was between a Fox body and a C6 I would have a very hard time deciding.

Got a buddy that has several Fox Body Mustangs. He's partial to the 2.3L Turbo though.

Had friend with one, ghost flames and flared. It definitely made a statement. That statement was "pull me over an search the car. "
Yes! A friend of mine, we shared an aunt, uncle, and two cousins but aren't related, had a third gen red Camaro. I'd get in the passenger seat and he'd take the seat, and two battery boxes off my Fortress Scientific 655, open the hatchback and load the chair up. We were almost aways followed by a cop. That car was a serious cop magnet.

My dad used to be the new car sales manager at Coeur d'Alene Honda in Idaho, and would often drive new or used cars home from work rather than drive his own. On two occasions he'd brought home a third gen Camaro and I got to drive them both. Honestly I didn't care for them, the weight distribution was terrible and it was too easy to spin them out in a turn. Maybe I should have learned to slow down?

He also owned a 1967 Mustang with a 289ci engine under the hood. That car did a lot better in the turns, but you had to be careful with the breaks. One day I spun the car around 180 degrees stopping for a stop sign. Lesson learned I never did that again. I wasn't speeding but I was going down a steep hill at the time. My dad loved that car and to trust a 22 year old with it was amazing. I always treated that car with respect and never once broke the speed limit in it or took any risks with it. In 1983 my van was in the shop for an engine swap due to the previous engine sucking a valve. My dad loaned me the Mustang so I could get around. I had to use my manual chair, and needed help loading and unloading it, but boy oh boy, I was very popular with my friends who all wanted a ride in it.

Had a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with a 5 speed. Fun car would almost run with the 5.0 Mustang!
There was also the SC version. A friend had one of those in Red with the black leather interior

Around 2010 a friend of mine had the new V6 Camaro. I ragged on it but I was blown away by how much jam it had.
