This is to let people know about my expierience with trophy class rc (tcrc). They custom machine products for t-maxx, 1/8 scale and a couple others.(thats why I'm posting in general not just t-maxx) I ordered thier stage 1 suspension & fuel cell for my maxx. It took a couple of tries to contact them to order it(shoulda been my first clue). When I ordered it they told me it would ship priority mail that day or the next. After 2 weeks it still hadnt even been charged to my cc. I called them and he told me "were a little behind but i have a bunch of orders going out today and one is yours". Then a couple days later the charge appeared on my cc but the stuff didnt arrive for another week and a half.(postmsrked 2 days before it came) I was so happy to finally have it that I didnt really care I took almost 5 weeks for them to ship it to me. I assembled the front first and had no problems. When I assembled the rear hub carriers the threads for the pivot ball caps were not tapped all the way out and it stripped my pivot ball caps out . I called them and they said other people have had that happen and they would get me some in about a week. After 2 weeks I contacted them and was told hed need another week. I told him had just installed a .25 and couldnt wait any longer to drive the truck(i had been waiting about 7 wks at this point) and that I was going to make homemade turnbuckles and use my stock rear hub carriers so I could drive it. He said it wouldnt be a problem. I took the truck for some test runs and withih 15 mins the bone end on 1 axel completely stripped and 2 others were not far behind. At this point I was going to return the susp. for a refund. After a couple disappointed messages they finally contacted me and said other people had expierienced this and that they were making better axels id just have to wait a week or so they even said theyd give a 1/8th scale diff convrsion for my troubles and wait. After 3 1/2 weeks I was finally able to get ahold of them again and was told it would ship out in a week after a week and a half they still had not showed up. I have contatacted my cc and they have gauranteed my money back and I have told tcrc I will be returning thier stuff for a full refund. Not suprisingly they havent responded. I have since done a through search(something i will be sure to do before hand from now on)in several forums and have found several people whove had problems with the 1/8 scale conversions not fitting , axels stripping, long delays , and them refusing refunds. I'm just glad I was able to use my cc co. to get my money back if I had used a money order or something i would have been screwed. The worst part is i really wanted that susp. I'm just posting this so other people might know before they get screwed If anybody knows kevin from tcrc:contract: :sniper: :w00t:
