New to the R/C world

I’m trying to get everything together so I can break in my new T Maxx 3.3 motor and I purchased this hump pack battery online now where do I put it lol? I know that sounds dumb but it says nothing about that kind of stuff in the manual? Thanks in advance!

That hump pack should go into the grey box next to the fuel tank.

The truck needs a receiver battery (4 AA batteries), where Chubaka said, and the EZ start starter needs a battery as well (7.2v NiMH or 2S lipo stick pack).

Yeah thanks, I got the 7.2 volt battery for the ez start that’s ready and put 4 AA in the receiver. I think this was the last piece to the puzzle.

Edit 6/23/25: Yesh ok so I do not have the manual I’m not sure what I have but it’s sorta like a quick start guide if that makes sense?

This was right in the Traxxas manual, and online… No worries-you’ve got it now sir.

I was going to suggest just duct taping it to the chassis, but placing it inside the gray box is fine.
