My mom is in the market for a new digital camera. She is looking to spend under $400. (Closer to $300 if possible). She wants something that stays clear when a person zooms up, and also the image stabalizer. Thats the 2 biggest keys (Besides clear pics). She was looking at the Canon Powershot SI IS Digital camera which is 6mp and a 12x optical zoom. I know everyone seems to be happy with there Canon's, so I told her this would probably be her best bet, but honestly, I dont know to much about these things. I'm still using a Kodak Easy share 4230 2mp..lol..Its gets the job done for me I guess..
