Hey, i have a duratrax charger that is about 5 or 6 years old, and a new traxxas battery pack and i was wondering if they are compatible? i would need to change the part that connects to charger to the battery as they are diffrent. but i dont wanna do this if its not a good idea!

well i would say we need more info

i would get the charger model so we can get the specs to see the charge rates and how many cells

the info off the battery is needed also

picture would be even better so we can see the plugs

you can probaly buy an adapter or just change the plug on the end of your charger

okay so the battery is a traxxas that came stock with my stampede, i believe it is a 4200NiMH. it has the traxxas high current connector.

as long as the traxxas pack is NiMH and not the LiPO then it would be fine. Just noticed you already said. NiMH
you can buy a charging adaptor to charge the NiMH. google traxxas 3061 that is what you need,
or google/ebay Traxxas male to female molex.
If you have lost the instructions clicky me
