Hello,
Fairly new to Lipo batteries and running into an issue I can use some help with. Recently bought a FMS 1:7 Bronco and a couple of Zeee 4S batteries. Both batteries charged great with no issues (I have another question about running a single battery in this rig but will follow up with that later). After running both batteries I went to balance charge them and my charger is only reading 3S even though 4S was input. I bought a cell meter which reads all 4 cells.

Not sure what the issue might be? Any thoughts?

Appreciate it. The charger read the new battery correctly (4S) for the first charge on both batteries. Think it still may be charger related?

Toss that charger in the trash and buy a better quality charger.

Hota is a forum favorite, I think, and you couldn’t go wrong with the Hota D6. I myself have the Hota S6, and it’s a powerhouse on dc power.

I also use a Junsi iCharger DX6, on 24v dc power only. The DX6 is $200, but is top tier quality charger.

Obviously we all have different requirements for our charging needs, so I think you’ll be in a good spot with the Hota D6.

Great to hear it’s not a battery issue! I appreciate the help and charger suggestion, sounds like a winner.

Does the charger act/read the same for both 4S packs?
Either way, as suggested by others, I'd invest in a better charger.

Yes it does. Both packs read 3S after 1 run each.

Got my Hota D6!
So, the 4S batteries that were reading a 3S on my previous charger read 4S on this new charger but in positions 2-5. Does this matter? I have not tried to charge it with this reading.
