Wow. That steering link is way out of whack dude. Move it to the back of that horn.
if I move it to the back of the horn it will rub on the bulkhead and it won't turn the other way. Idk why it does that with this servo. Didn't have that issue with the other one

Well it is a TLR horn 🤷

I have a spare Traxxas horn but it's too long.

Are the kit ones plastic?

All that I care about is it works for now.

Ok yea what I have now is listed for the 22 4.0. the pack of 3 5.0 composite servo horns are unknown shipping date thanks TLR 🤩🤦

That's weird, 'cause TLR doesn't say fitment for the 22 5.0 on their 22 aluminum horns. 🤔 If you look at the orientation of the ball stud on a 3.0 & 4.0, it's on the back side of the servo horn.

Meh, I'm sure you'll figure out.

Cool buggy, I used to have a TLR 22T 4.0 that i converted into a carpet racer but i had lots of issues mostly because i was a noob and i bought this as my first race RC. Sometimes i wish i still had it.

Forgive the Traxxas servo i didn't have proper metal gear servo at the time and this lasted half a lap before the geartrain all stripped out and we had to buy a Savox 1258TG the same day at the track.

I ended trading this truck as a rolling chassis for an old Spektrum DX3C radio that i later sold along with my Mini-T 2.0 that sold awhile back.

I came back to this since i started thinking about getting a TLR 22 5.0 DC Elite someday in the future. Maybe if they come out with the 6.0 i might get that instead i think you already know i already have a B74.1 and i already had a 22T 4.0 but this will be my first 1\10 2wd race buggy.

I did remember that, yes. Thanks!
I bought a used B6.3 recently. I was hoping to get to a track but it hasn't worked out. I like the car but I'm not sure I'm going to use it now. 🤷‍♀️
I'm pretty invested in my Optima Mid. It might not be the last car I ever run in a track but I love 4x4.
The new Kyosho Ultima RB7.5 looks GOOD tho! 😍
Betcha a new Kyosho 1/10 4x4 will be out in a month or 3 too! ❤️‍🔥❤️🤞
I'll be watching TLR too! 😉

Me personally, from my experience with my TLR. It's been ok. If it can use regular 2wd wheels without any mods I would love it but that's my only con about it right now. If TLR rises up and released a 6.0 in the future I highly doubt it at this point but I would be really surprised if they would. And if potentially the 6.0 parts can be cross compatible with the 5.0 I'd love that more. But, it is horizon and from what I seen they make our lives terrible so. If I haven't came across this deal for my TLR , I would have went with AE or Xray. Being completely honest with ya.

Race day!

Planning on doing a rebuild on this too just to rebuild the rear end and shocks. One rear shock seems stiffer than the other and the diff feels light. Might be leaking, not sure. Trying to get close on what the previous owner had which is 12.5k in the diffs and I'm guessing stock setup in the shocks.
