They don’t come in a set??
They do

Why not don't fix the other side if it ain't broke? 🤷

It’s a great concept that gets us by, it will just be the same is all? 🤷‍♂️
Keep the old one as a spare.
True but that's more work I gotta do lol. I just put the other new arm in my spare parts bag anyways lol.
If I feel like it I'll put it on 😉

Man ain’t that the truth

Update:
Will get into some issues I've been having soon but just to start out, last time I updated this thread, since then, did 2 race days at the clay track, and has been going decently well - see race blog for more info. (Got new tires, improved traction alot, but still learning throttle control because on clay, if you have too much power out of the corner, you will slide out. Partially why I'm better at 4 wheel than 2 wheel on clay but its a good learning experience. Did crack a rear arm one race day, got that replaced the morning of the next race day. Also broke the front camber block, not actually the camber block, it is still fine but the little plastic piece that supports the front sway bar, on the right side, it broke so gonna get a new one to replace that and leave my current intact block for spare) Other general things, the gearbox is always greasy and gets dirty easily so Ill get a new diff gasket, and rebuild the diff to, currently has 12.5k if I remember, will put in 15k as a baseline and I can do up or down if I need to but I don't think I will as it takes like 20 something screws or more to get to the diff in the first place Lol. Shock internals/rings, shock bodies, especially in the rear are greasy too so Ill get Losi's G3 shock ring/seals kit although out of stock, and they seem to be on backorder of the plastic bushings for the bottom internals so ill skip on those, will see if my AE 12mm V2 rebuild kit would work for these. Should. Ill also rebuild the shocks for the first time on this car too, lol, after nearly a year of having it. Might be dirty oil, not sure, but its still dialed so I'm not that worried.

Shock Shafts/getting spare parts/finding new alternatives:
I am at the point that I should be growing my spare parts bag for this car, just in case as you never know, especially right now as TLR parts support is getting weaker and weaker day by day for older kits. One of my buddies has a 22x4 and waited a couple months to get a new diff case, that's how awful it is right now for older TLR cars. Already have the essentials like hinge pins and arms, shock shafts is probably next on the list to get, also bringing it up because I thought it was the reason I had binding issues but nope the shafts are perfectly fine right now, just for spare parts. 22 AC kit shafts are 3mm x 48.7 in the rear and 3mm x 42.7 in the front. The part number in the manual leads to it being discontinued on AMain and on Horizon. Figured out, thanks to the guys on the TLR 2wd racers group on FB, that the new 22X/X-T shock shafts are the same size, just different PNs and are TiNi coated. But still a bit hesatent as I'm not sure if I have stock AC shocks (3mm shafts) or elite shocks (which use a 3.5mm shaft, which HH still has stock left and/or still producing them). Therefore, I'm to the point into racing that I need to invest in a set of calipers/micrometer. Lol. Also, got some upgrade suggestions and the Klinik shafts look dialed so I might get those over newer TiNi 22X ones, not sure. Probably would still do TLR shafts bc its cheaper. Now, got that figured out, what other parts should I stock up on? Like mentioned I do have some elite upgrades on here, and some exotek upgrades too so I really can't think of anything else unless its like front/rear hubs or just generic plastics I guess.

Binding in the rear arms at hinge pin/blocks/pills:
Had this issue when I got the car, did a full rear end rebuild a few months ago, binding went away, binding came back when I cracked/broke the rear arm on the same side that was binding. For note I have the Elite upgrade C block that uses rectangular pills, and the D block I got a older 4.0 version that uses oval like pills. The hinge pin going into the pill on the C block was super tight. Hinge pin is straight, like new. Manual calls for 0.5mm plastic shims but last time I took it apart I didnt run any so I know its not a shimming issue so it has to be that pill I guess. Got these in the cart right now. Upgrading to the Elite D block so I'm not rambling when I need 2 different types of pill/inserts. Should fix the binding issue. Wonder if my AE pills can fit Losi blocks...? 🤔

Ideally other than the binding issue that I'll fix, and after getting it all cleaned up and stuff, should be absolutely dialed for the 25-26 carpet/winter season.

Ok. I knew I shouldn't have gone with this car...

Been working for the past like 5 hours on this thing

ALL New Pills in rear pivots.
New rear hinge pins
New arms
New Elite D block
Right side arm is still binding. Wth???
I already verified it isn't the shock or sway bar. The hinge pin in the arm moves freely when not in the car. Also tried shims and still didn't work. I'm at total loss.

And don't get me started on this front camber block. This "replacement" part I got is a totally different part. It requires you to buy a pack of inserts for 17 friggin bucks!!! NOPE. Not doing this again horizon.
Build thread turned into rant. 🤣
--Sighs--

Only reason I need a new front camber block is that one side the sway bar support sheared off. But I just put the original block back on so let's hope the sway bar doesn't bend.

The rear binding issue has been going on for at least 3 months now and for the life of me cannot figure this out.

I lost all of my faith in Horizon. The quality and support is sooo bad...

Like I’ve said, find yourself a B6.something and I’ll get this thing to work well lol. I like a challenge. And for some reason I’m a TLR boy even though I don’t even own a real buggy yet……

Jokes and partway serious comments aside, hopefully you can get this figured out because no one likes bindy arms.

Just looked at the newest 2 wheel Xray, granted the sway bar is inside of the car not on the outside, but just look at the camber block. The holes for the ball stud are all in 1, molded into the actual piece. Like what is Horizon thinking on those inserts. TLR def not, no where near as "Luxury" as Xray. I'm sorry Horizon you just messed up the industry... BADLY. I'm just over it, everything with anything Horizon owned or related is just constant issues after issues and it's non stop. One day can be QC issues, another day can be bad customer service, another day can be poor manufacturing of parts, and the last day is overcharging for parts.

Honestly TLR would be better off selling those camber block inserts with the actual camber block for the same price of like 9 bucks. But sadly it's 2025. Anyone can overcharging for everything and people wouldn't care.

There are things that are out of manufactures control with overcharging for things since this year a Dirty Tyrant wannabe came up with those Tariffs. Just so you know. I still like my Horizon cars and products i never have many issues with them although that might just be me. Edit: But i could see where you're coming from with your buggy it does suck when you receive the wrong part luckily i haven't had something like that happen to me yet.

Exactly, and true. But if HH wants to make profit they should overcharge for quality made parts like a chassis or shocks (Not ProLine ones with leaky seals 🤣), not plastic pieces.

I'm going to see how I can fix this rear binding issue. The only thing that I could see wrong is that there is a stripped screw on the c block, on the left side that's been stripped for months but I'm not sure on how a simple screw would effect it from binding. Especially if it's on the opposite side of the block. Only reason that screw stripped was bc it was I guess cheaper titanium.

On the parts... This is just horizon in general. And I have no clue on why they do this but sometimes especially from what I seen with Arrma, they sell the same exact part but in different part numbers, making it super confusing when trying to get something. Especially if you're comparing it to the manual or exploded views and it directs you to a different PN.

I hope you get it fixed and back out on the track although it might be end of the season now. But yeah especially i hope they do better in the future since i really like Horizon and their many brands i've been loving my Arrma's and my Spektrum electronics so far especially my new iXSR+ it's been the best transmitter i've owned in my entire RC career so far zero issues i've had with it so far.
