It only has a 1 amp discharge rate. :(
Doesn't seem to have a lot of advanced features.

For just a few more $$ you can get a proven full featured charger as the others you mentioned. IMO stick with proven units.
 
lol, I saw the rate as 1-10, guess I missed the "point". So much for that charger.
 
What size lipos are you planning to charge? I have been using the Hyperion EOS7i for the last couple months and it works very well. I primarily use it to charge lipos but it also does nicd, nimh, and pb. Lipos do not need to be discharged to a certain voltage level before recharging since they have no memory effect.
