My dynamite mega dual-e gets hot also. I start turning it off after the 3rd charge. Is this normal?

More than likely. I'm not familiar with that charger. Mine has a built in cooling fan. Just like a VCR, when you take a tape out, it's warm. All the heat in either one, comes from the power supply.
In my charger, when I cycled NiCads, it would shut itself off after the discharge to cool off, then restart after 5 minutes.

I may start charging up by an open window.

It's normal for chargers to get warm to hot. Just wait til it cools off before u re-use it.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing. Don't want to fry it like I did the last one.

Since its 32 degrees today I put the charger in the window sill, it's nice and cool ;)

Chargers getting hot?

Are you kidding, They got their asses handed to them in the 4th by the Jets.
Heating up, No, More like a Short circuit.

Deleted for another 'baiting' comment.

Seeing that his charger doesn't have the ability to ajust the amperage, no it's not.
