Bronco guy yes....those wheels...no
Exactly....put some rubber with some sidewalls and bite in the tread....the current wheels are perfect for conquering the tough rigors of mall parking lots.
Its a LIFTED golf cart tho!!!You guys do realize it's a golf cart right? LOL
i bet i could have seen it all. I'm used to going to VW shows that have over 300 cars. plus drag racing. plus swap meet. plus venders.View attachment 277213View attachment 277214View attachment 277215View attachment 277216View attachment 277217View attachment 277218View attachment 277219View attachment 277220View attachment 277221View attachment 277222View attachment 277225
@Suburban_Hooligan would have HATED this VW meet on Father's Day!!! (not enough time to see them all!!!)
This was about a mile from our house.
Everyone we met was super nice! Everyone wants to talk about their cars!
Even our Doggo got in on the fun!!!
Great time! I hope its back next year!!!
It was actually a very small meet. You see most of it.i bet i could have seen it all. I'm used to going to VW shows that have over 300 cars. plus drag racing. plus swap meet. plus venders.
that's normal, Volkswagen roughly translated means "peoples car" and the scene is very people oriented. its also very hands on and DIY.It was actually a very small meet. You see most of it.
Every single one of the owners was REALLY into their cars.
I enjoyed that the most. Talking with real ppl.
There were a couple trailers in the lot but almost all of them were driven there.
It was fun!![]()
I really enjoyed the chalkboard Bug.that's normal, Volkswagen roughly translated means "peoples car" and the scene is very people oriented. its also very hands on and DIY.
its a thing where you could have the nicest car in the show, but if you have an ego or you're as a-hole about it, you're basically shunned. nobody will give you the time of day. they'll even ignore your car. the flip side of that is you could have a totalbox. be cool about it, be at least making the attempt to learn and DIY your bucket and get welcomed into the fold. even the prestigious car club guys with the magazine feature cars are like that. they'll stop, talk to you, listen to you, offer up advice/experiences or just strike up a quick casual conversation.
a lot of shows in the mid west and east coast seem to have those. some times its a chalkboard, sometimes it'll be paint. but its mostly there for kids to get creative on.I really enjoyed the chalkboard Bug.
Not super clean but super fun!
Very nice ppl!
