most definately!

I've hunted deer, elk, bear, duck, grouse, pheasent, bobcat, and many more... wouldnt have it any other way. its just teh food chain man.

you seriously ARE comparing deer hunting with running down birds with a car? Go run a deer down with your car. Bet that won't be as much fun....

lol ok heres my theory on running over deer with cars... here is my rig
77-truckfront.jpg

as you can see it is quite adequately set up to demolish any woodland creatures that come in its way... I have hit about 6 deer so far. 2 were accidental. personnaly i think tis fun?

LMAO! What have you got in your furry-woodland-creature machine, a 454??

OK guys, there is a difference between hunting for food and recreational murder of pests. Check the game laws of any state. With a valid hunting license you can kill all the non-game pest animals you want. And yes it can be fun. And what difference does it make to the rat or pigeon if it is shot with an air rifle or poisoned by some state agancy?

454 bored .060 over comp 268 cam, ported polished ls6 heads, roller rockers, balanced blueprinted, H-beam rods, forged pistons, high volume oil pump, msd HEI distributor with a 6-AL box hedman hedders through dual 2.5 inch 40 series flowmasters, holly street dominator dual plane manifold and a edelbrock 750 cfm carb... 4 speed with 1-ton running gear

hehe yeah scott it was rough... now its got 1350 (1-ton) series CV at the T-case end and 1410 (1.5 ton) u-joint at the axle end.... roll backwards, put it in 2nd gear, bring it to 4k rpm, and dump the clutch... smoke everywhere, no driveline problems at all!

I see nothing wrong with killing animals if they're over populated. I know i'd love to kill a few geese if it were legal. Their population is rediculous.

You should see the population of geese we have around our apartment complex. We have several ponds in the area. My back porch over looks one of the 5 in the area. I tried counting them one day but I was going blind after I hit 40. lol.

very true. Over here one of the local communities passed a law allowing bow hunting of deer within city limits to those who have 'x' amount of land. But fish farming and matters such as this are far from what is exhibited here. This is simply a malacious and undeniably ignorant act of cruelty.

The point of killing for food has been brought up a couple times here and I have to ask... what does that have to do with this matter? Those birds aren't being eaten. They're being left for dead in a parking lot. Society farms fish and kills fish because they feed our families.. Society raises and kills cattle because they also feed out families. let's stop hiding behind the non-questionable sacrifices just so we can feel ok about killing a few seagulls for no reason other than pesonal satisfaction. Yes, they can be a pain I agree, but so can our co-workers and neighbors. Maybe we should just mow them down too?????

There ain't nothing wrong with mowing down a few co-workers or neighbors if they're a nuisance. Just make sure you don't get caught...and if you do, don't come crying to me ;)

What about all the dogs and cats that are put to sleep because they can't find homes? Or all the animals used for evil scientific experiments?

None actually, but doesn't mean that killing animals purely for the "fun" of it is any less sick.

I can understand hunting for food, clothing etc etc but purely for fun???

But i suppose i should add that the dude running over seagulls story was pretty funny, its one of those things that you know is wrong but is still funny, like seeing a little old lady fall over a kerb.....funny but you know you shouldn't have laughed as hard as you did..........

lmao that was sweet!!Birds are so useless!!!I have killed alot of birds in my time lol.Its very fun and funny to watch!

Lol cya!

Some pests are killed because they spread diasease, and others because they cause problems.
Such as the misunderstood prairie dog (they were thought to dig holes that broke cows ankles)
Moles gopphers etc Because they destroyed farm habitat, mice for eating grain and spreading the plague

Has anyone heard of the great praire dog round up in Texas, they shoot as many as they can with scopes, and the one who has the most kills wins.

Do I go kill something I am not gong to eat for fun..well sort of. I kill Coyotes under the guise of protecting my buddys herd of cows. I kill porcupines supposedly to protect my dogs. I shoot swallows and other little birds that destroy my other buddys orchards. I could say I do it out of duty to my friends but to tell you the truth I enjoy the hunt. Yes I enjoy it. Do I run down cats..no, do I run down dogs no but I do hunt pests.
In a society where we make cattle live on top of their own feces, so we can kill them to eat, where we
Seagulls are protected because they do the opposite, they eat every rotting, nasty, stench spewing peice of trash or dead things from anywhere, not just the beach.

Although they make short work out of carcasses and garbage, any bird can be a HUGE detriment to a big business such as a mall. As I stated before the pigeons we had soo many that people actually would not come near our building, or shop

Who are we to say, or judge why this guy did this? It may be a sick pleasure, then again it could have been frustration at the way they left his convertable one day.

I say... judge not lest ye be judged. I bet we could find something so called "sick and evil" in every posters life. What you may consider normal, we may consider sick.

LOL Kwong, I microwaved a roach once, and it didn't seem to mind...

There is something just not right about these two statements, yet both make me laugh very hard :D
