Car charger?

Is there a car charger or some kind of device that you can use to hook up your charger in your car? Nothing sucks worse than traveling some where to run your electrics for 15min and go home lol.

most nicer chargers are 12-13 volt chargers..... just put some aligator clips on the leads, and hook em up to ur car battery.....

If your charger does not have DC leads, you can use an inverter.

I looked at some of the inverters. Are there any that can hook up to a cigarette lighter or is that not powerful enough?

The one I linked to plugs into your cigarette lighter. It also comes with clips to hook up to your battery.

I purchased mine at Kragen Auto, and most any auto parts store will have them. I paid about $30 for a 400 watt unit.

One last question on this. A friend of mine told me it may not be a good idea to get one that is around 400w because he said it can burn up the wiring to the cigarette lighter. Would a 100w be sufficient if that is true?
I was looking at this one but I don't know if it is strong enough to push a Peak Vision 2 charger.
