Has anyone fixed a broken steering wheel on the dumbo rc controller. Mine no longer springs back to center position . Any help on how to take apart or fix this issue. Tha

I'd bet the little plastic piece that holds the spring broke. Not sure you'll be able to fix it so I'd just order a new one. They are only like $35 and then you'll have an extra reciever that can go to another rig or just a back up.

Just had the same issue few days back.
Look up exocage video for how to fix TX broken spring.
I used this vid to figure out how to fix the broken spring on the dumboRc x6.
It's very simple and straight forward.
1-remove the center sticker on the steer knob.
2-you need to wiggle out the steer knob carefully and it pops out.
3-remove the four screws that hold the cap over.
4- follow how exocaged worked on the spring.
And your sorted. Hopefully this helps, being that you've posted this last month 😬.
I added a play mobile rubber tire grip instead of the plastic grip.
My bad. Was posted in 2021 🤣.
Anyways, hope this helps others if they face the same issue. Can work for different radios without spending money on a new tx.

Yes all I did was remove the screw under center cap of steering wheel. Slowly pry wheel off, remove 4 screws under wheel and the cover will come off. Then you can see if you broke the spring or the rocker arm. I broke the spring and took one out of another controller I don’t use, from the trigger mech. Works good, and only took 10-15 minutes if that.
