Are dual rates set and then controlled by switch possible?

With my aircraft radios, dual rates are set and then controlled by a switch. For example with the dual rate switch at one position, you get full travel of a control surface and with the switch at the other position, you get the amount of travel you have programmed as your alternate setting... hence the "dual" in dual rates.

But with my surface radios, the dual rate setting is just a single thing; there's not anything "dual" about it, which is puzzling. It seems more like an end-point adjustment in the simple radios. I have mostly these simple radios that came with RTRs along with a more versatile FlySky GT-3B. I was hoping the GT-3B would let me change to two different rates with a switch but it doesn't seem to allow that. It does have a DR switch that allows immediate adjustment of the steering rate, but doesn't immediately adjust it to a preset rate. And it only works on the steering.

Are there any surface radios that allow you to program two sets of adjustments and then select them with the single push of a button?

This might be Radiomaster MT12 territory here since it comes from the flight world. I don't know 100% that it will do this but, it has a lot of programmable functions.

The "dual" in dual rate actually means you're adjusting the affective EPA for both ends of the channel's throw. Essentially a dual end point adjustment.

I run a Spektrum DX5C. It allows a dual rate setting and a dual rate override setting which can be programmed to a switch on the radio. Pretty much exactly what you're looking for. My radio is lower end and outdated so I have to assume that most modern aftermarket land radios have this feature.
