With the weather finally cooling down to unacceptable levels of cold for me I've been doing a mad thrash on my rcs. I spent the summer building my real rig a 1992 f150 4x4. I got a lift kit for it and started the install. I started doing major overhauls on my rcs. I got to working on my gatekeeper and turning it into a recovery truck. Got a new winch on it. Built a goonies cherokee for a brother in law and I'm finishing a police blazer for another brother in law. Built a cen f450 for a nephew and picked up a couple more projects in a trade.

Welcome back. The new whip have a live axle or ifs up front? I thought about getting the ifs taco.
 
Got the links from associated today. Got the right top link replaced and now looks as it should. Wife gave it it's maiden run and I have now lost my trailrunner to the wife lol. That's ok. She will drive it for a little bit then I will build my pre runner with the gatekeeper rear suspension and links swapped to that chassis. @Chubaka the ifs works really well. Get you one of them before they disappear. 299 with battery and charger from amain. 275 without. They may still be running the deal where you get an enduro24 with purchase. Wife claimed that one too 🤣.

If that was the tacoma it would be sold. 4runner ain't bad but I like my trucks. I have been pricing lights and metal parts for the night runner. May get one next year.

Yeah I like trucks too but couldn't pass this deal up. Nice thing is I can always put a truck body on it later
 
A few things left to do then it will be complete. I do have the interior for it and that is one of the last things. Just need to do the mirrors, wipers, paint the interior tan and get the windows in it. My bil doesn't know I rebuilt the truck or that I got him a more accurate body just yet. He will on Thanksgiving though lol.
