All you grandparents out there better get your orders in, the grandkids are gonna want some!

Seriously, I plan to get a couple.

I'll just need a stronger lens for my Donegan!

I'll give it a try on the impromptu coffee table course but I haven't pre-ordered it yet because I saw on the YouTube preview that it has a really loud ESC and I just really hate that.
In time, I expect they'll come up with some new body styles and the typical mods - hopefully including replacement / upgrade parts and electronics.

Furitek already has a brushless set up

On all the YouTube review tests, the Bronco seems to perform better than the Jeep. I'm hoping there are other bodies to come soon.
that's purely the weight of the body right? not that the jeep weighs that much more, but it's larger and has scale accessories

C-10 in black or kinda sea foam green seem to be out now. Maybe a bit top heavy as they are hardbody style. Noticed some lexan bodies on the Axial website. Rock n roll body and shelf body? Looks like a 65t motor too.

The motor choice in the new K10 is odd. And all reviews I have watched it struggles with crawling.

Maybe they realized the original release was too capable. Need to handicap it to sell hop-ups

I noticed at the Mile High Crawl Center the little Jeeps and Broncos don't look like they need anything to dominate the micro course.

I suppose that's possible, but seems unlikely to me. I guess we'll find out if they change the Jeep and Bronco also. They do pretty well stock for sure, but a few mods, mostly free really increases their ability.

I said I wouldn’t go crazy on ā€œupgradesā€ for this one but, I had to get this neobeast 030 from mofoRC.
Is it the very same motor with a black chrome housing? Time will tell

How many turns is that motor?

That info is not listed.
It states it has the torque of a 050 motor with a smoother startup. It has neodymium magnets instead of ferrite.
All I can say so far is that it is definitely a stronger motor but makes a lot of noise. Same 12t pinion but the gear mesh sounds different and the motor gets warmer than the stock motor. I did not do a run in on this motor.

Understood, thanks for the info. Still weighing motor options for down the road, but strongly leaning towards Holmes. Love their stuff, and been running them a long time. The little 88T is fine, but lacks smoothness and control in the super slow crawling department IMHO. Which is why I found the 65T such an odd choice in the K10.

I would think one of the Holmes 050 motors would be great and I am considering picking up a couple.
I am going to look a little more carefully at the extra noise. I might try to swap pinion gears just to see if that helps.
