Those certainly look very different, even though both are supposed to be .3mod pinions. The Holmes looks normal to me, the other looks like a worn pinion almost.
It kinda looks to me like they didn't put the angle on the outer faces of the teeth.

Printed my fist crawler plate yesterday (have one going now) and played around a little last night

Exactly. Thankfully I didn't damage the spur gear.
I swapped the stock pinion onto the neobeast motor - all is well. This really is a great replacement motor for this little truck. It is considerably stronger and smoother. I like it. Right now, I don't see the need to do a brushless system with this platform since brushed motors are cheap, and the 030 motor is the perfect size. An 050 will definitely be my next experiment. I am patiently waiting for a release that has a cool body we haven't really seen before

Where do you guys find these files? I wanna make a huge course outside!
Everything I have printed is from Bambu - Handy/Makers World. All free.

I am still new to printing, but I form what I understand you would need to us a plastic meant to withstand heat, as basic PLA really isn't

That's one thing nice about the 24th scaler. Endless bodies in the 25th scale model kits. I feel the same. They should release something different. A VW body. Or a semi truck. Something different.

30th scale means it will be both easier and harder to 3d print bodies for these. Easier because you got less room for supports to fail, and harder because there aren't a lot of 3d models out there. Some you could shink in the slicer and get away with it. But a ot of them will end up failing in thinner areas.
