The wife brought home a can of oven cleaner so I'll give that a shot.

It took 5 minutes to de-anodize with the oven cleaner. I mentioned before I like the king shocks but hated the color so I'm happy now.

they definitely look alot better now. With out that teal color I'm guessing much better chrome on black... well done sir

Thank you sir. The oil was looking pretty bad so I went ahead completely cleaned them and put in new oil.

Yeah I would have don't the same thing. If I was taken them apart to de-anodize the shocks. Got them apart so why not. Now your good for a while. glad it work out for ya bud
I'm actually doing the shocks for the duratrax maximum also. That's funny poor shocks haven't been touch in yrs
