I have all bashers and trucks at present, and I want to try out a crawler for rock and trail. I realize the Ryft is not a crawler, but can it be slowed enough for trail use. Which of these 3 1/10 RC's would you recommend for a first trail vehicle?
THanks!

Specifically what kind of trail matters. The Capra is the most popular of the 3. The Gilamon is larger and heavier. The Ryft is a rock racer. The terrain matters. Capra is favored and the Gilamon is a larger and newer truck. Not as popular. Capra will be around longer. Is easier to modify later. Vanquish trucks are worth a look also.

Take a look at this...

The Capra is pretty capable. I built one when they offered it as a kit. Depending on your terrain the Gilamon could really chew up some trails since it is larger. It has some cool features as well. I would personally stay away from the Ryft as the juice just isn't worth the squeeze. It was poorly designed and needs upgrades right out of the box.

Unless you are stuck on Axial brand, I would look into the Vanquish H10 Optic. I built one and it is fantastic. It does well on trails and can handle some crawling. The quality is really nice on Vanquish products.
