Brushed concrete is like a tire grinder.
This spot has brushed concrete & asphalt both. About 50/50. Perfectly flat, all of it. Great spot. Do a dig/launch- jets straight. Point & go. It's a great spot until it gets leased. But that area has many more.

Have you tried the Choons?
I have a set of these, I haven't tried yet. Come unglued. Just haven't set down & taken the time to glue them yet.

They are probably garbage but worth a try for less than $30, from china

Good to know about the Choons! I hope they are decent :)
They make the Dboots Hoons in different hardnesses. White, Silver, and Gold. I bought a pair of the golds, but I don't run my felony very often, so I haven't tried them out.

My first road RC and she does not disappoint. I just took it out on her virgin run and 100% was scary in the parking lot I was in...I am already thinking where I can take it tomorrow to really open it up. Thing is insane fast out of the box
Gratz on the Infraction! They are a blast :)
I love my Felony!

I haven't tested the Choons yet but for the price they are a great option for burnouts and drifting. I already have 2 sets waiting for my Infraction. I bought them when they first came out. Copies of the Hoons of course.

I can't wait for the Infraction to arrive. Hoping it's delivered tomorrow or Tuesday.

I tried the Golds on my 3s Infraction. They aren't good. I've ran every tire in 035/85- White/silver/gold on it & the stock Elevens are the best on it, a 3s Infraction. If the Gold 100 are like the 85s, don't waste your money. Other than that, the whites are best all around.

If Arrma made 100 Elevens, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I got to open it up a little more this morning...but I still haven't gotten it pinned yet (space still an issue). Thing is so fun and scary wrapped into one. My only gripe thus far, why do they do a cool entire wrap/paint job and then stick a clear wing on it?

I'm having a little bit of a hard time understand what exactly you're saying here. Stock 11s? The stock hardness is white, what does 11s refer to? Also, the Gold 100s are the same as the Gold 85s in terms of the hardness. The numbers on the tires like 42/100 or 35/85 are the dimensions of the tires. 42/100 would be 100mm in diameter and 42mm wide.

Yes I understand the markings on the tires & what they mean.
The Elevens(white)are the name of the stock 3s Infraction tires. Like Backflips or Copperheads or Hoons. The name. Yes, the 3s Infraction run the mm size 35/085 Elevens tires RTR. 35 mm x 85mm. I typed it wrong above. (035/85-my bad)
Yes, all the colors are the same hardness whether 85 or 100. The Golds aren't good.

Ahhhhh, ok. I forgot they have a 3S version and I didnt realize they have a different name for the tires vs the 6S version :thumbs-up:

Only 100s come in Hoons. Or aftermarket, well, all types. My point was, & I'm not being snark, that if Arrma made a 100 Elevens white, I'd get them. After piles of different 085s thru the 3s, I went back to the RTR Elevens. They are really good. The RC just does better. Idk if it's the rubber itself, it feels a little different than a white 085 Hoons, or if it's the tread pattern. I'm hoping to find an alternative to the Arrma 100 Hoons for my 6s, because it shreds tires. Maybe I'm on the extreme side of the throttle, but that's the whole point for me. Pin it.
Hey fellas- Yall have a great Labor Day!

Ok, I'm with ya now :)

Once I go through my current supply of Hoons, I'm gonna try those Choons. $22 for a set of 4 is hard to beat if theyre any good :)

I've got a set of PowerHobby 42/54/100's Grippers in line after my current Arrma Hoons white 42/100 front & 53/100 rear & a spare, rear cutout, blue body(used)so I didn't have to cut the silver one it came with.

They also come in gold, red, silver, green, white, or yellow wheels. I believe all of them are the same compounds. No difference in rubber.

But they are $75-$80 for a full set, so I wait. The Choons are better on the wallet at $22. I'll definitely grab a set after all these are toasted. I believe M2C sells the rubber carcasses, just the tires, to press on the Hoons wheels after removing the worn tires & are supposedly like 1:1 race car tires & review they last a long time. I think it's M2C.

I Thought about buying a set of those for my Felony Crusher Serena someday and switching the diffs out to full Infraction V2 diffs front and rear so i can run different tires and bodies. A stock Felony comes with 15\42 and 14\46 diff ring and pinions so it can run the stock 42\100 front and 53\107 rear wheels and tires so they can pull off the muscle car look better but it's also the reason it took me so long to make the decision to buy a Felony vs the Infraction or Limitless. But in the end i went with the Felony since i liked the muscle car body more than the truck body that comes on the Infraction although i heard someone say that the Infraction is more aerodynamic and better suited for speedruns than the Felony.
