Hilarious that Google Lens thinks this is a cigar cutter. LOVE cigars but don't smoke but 1 every 10 years. And they're better than what this thing would cut. šŸ˜†

It's driving me nuts because it was important back when I was up to my ears in electric RC, but I'm struggling to remember what the heck it is for.

Its a mini catapult to fling misc hardware into opposing pit areas.
No better way to mess with an opponent than by making them think their car is missing a screw... but which one... šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤”šŸ¤£

A safety nail clipper, no cutting edge what-so-ever???

It almost looks like points from an old Dodge distributor.

You got a winner here! 🤣

That there is one of them thingamajigs.
I thought it could be a Guzonta but the rubber tip makes me think Guzinta almost definitely.
Thingamajig maybe but Thingamabob seems unlikely too. šŸ¤”

That's a lipo disposal unit.

Snip the connector off lipo, strip wire ends, lay stripped wires across the plastic, use thumb to pull down the metal connecto-tron-5000.

Bingo Bango Green Flame-O

Jokes aside, it definitely looks like something that would be used to create a short. But why? lol

Looks like a spring for a lid or latch or something.

You can thank chatGPT for this answer cuz the modern ones dont look like this. I would have discovered this sooner but I ended up having a heart attack before I got there.

The object in the images appears to be a tire bead holder tool (also called a tire mounting assist tool), and yes — it was commonly used in the RC (radio-controlled) hobby, especially during tire mounting for foam or rubber tires on plastic wheels.

Key Features:

  • The metal bar with rubber/plastic end caps acts as a tensioner.
  • The hooked or notched end is used to hold the tire bead in place while you glue it to the wheel.
  • The pivoting mechanism gives it tension so it can stay fixed while you rotate the wheel to glue around it.

In RC use:

When mounting tires on 1/10 or 1/8 scale RC wheels, it's common to pre-glue or glue in sections. This tool keeps part of the tire sidewall pressed into the bead channel while glue is applied around the rest.

Good to see you on here again. How are you?
A lot better now, mate! Added two new stints to the collection. Blood clots creating a 98% blockage with very little symptoms. The cardiologist said it was a miracle that I didn't have a massive heart attack before they could get to me. I was thinking, "It would help if you guys worked on the weekends!" lol

I'm good now though, just got back home but I'm completely wiped out.

Thanks for asking.
