Hi guys, purchased on ebay, fitted new pull start and bearing but wont start. Fresh gas, plug. Tried what i think is stock settings..nothing. Any suggestions?? thanks

Take the fuel line off the exhaust and blow in it for about 3 sec. Is your carb gap atleast 1mm open? If that still don't work dump some fuel directly into the carb just a little. Have you checked to make sure your glow plug is glowing bright? Also make sure your at stock settings there is no guess to that it has to be either some what tuned or at stock settings or you will never get it to crank.

Hi,glow plug ok,primed engine..fuel flows ok,tried fuel direct in carb, not sure stock settings..2-3 turns out from closed? Seems to be 1mm gap, also tried with bigger gap. Will try again..thanks

Ansmann 21 stock settings

Anyone help?? thanks

this is what i have too took me ages to find but here you go
HSN (big brass needle) screw it all the way in, and then 4 full turns out, and the LSN (on the side of the throttle linkage) have it so it is inline, or flush with the plastic around it,
idle so that there is a 1-1.5mm gap in the carb
Hope this helps

Thanks for your input guys, managed to start on those settings but tried running..throttle wouldnt shut off, slammed into kerb bending suspension shaft, engine coninued to rev high. When i operate controller with engine dead, servos seem sluggish, brake not operating, pull throttle slowly linkages move then stop half way, wont open fully? Also, steering not responding whilst running, sluggish with wheels off ground. I'm new to this guys so your advice appreiated, thanks . Just had look at other posts re servos, could be bad servo?? My batteries are good.Fool me to buy used off ebay eh;-(

Do you have a lhs or a friend that will get you going and show you the basic's? You may need to get some help just to get you on the right track. We can only help you by telling you what we may think is your issue but once you go out to run it I think it would be better for you to get some guidence. I hate your having so much trouble and that's why I'm telling you this. If you don't get some help your going to get discouraged fast and cost your self a lot of money.

Sounds like your receiver batteries are dead. Youll replace alkaline batteries about every hour of operation. A rechargeable, 5 cell nimh rx pack is highly recommended. As is a failsafe. A failsafe will put the throttle at a predetermined position that you choose if you get out of range or battery voltage drops to unsafe levels.
