Build Thread Another Slash 4X4 build.

This will be my second Traxxas Slash/Traxxas Rally build, and it's pretty much going to be the same as the last one (before anyone asks, my entire collection was stolen from me a couple years ago). I started with a used Rally 4X4 roller, that I picked up cheap. The plan is to install the Traxxas HD kit in blue, and HobbyWing Quicrun combo (10BL120 ESC, and 3700KV 3660 motor). When I got home with it, I gutted it to check everything out, and it's in extremely good shape, with new rubber shielded bearings, HD lower arms, shocks were filled and bled properly, even the diffs looked to be in really good shape, and were properly put together, so, I don't really have to do much with it to build another monster SCT out of it. I'm gonna call it the Rash (since it's a mix of Slash and Rally parts, and, that's what someone on here named my last one) V2.0. It came with the tires and wheels that are on it. The only thing I have added so far was the Reedy ESC and Arrma motor, and Radiolink R6F receiver. And, yes, I plan on removing the white and pink paint.

Nice beginning... I seem to remember the Rally 4x4 uses shorter arms, links, drive shafts than the Slash 4x4.

That's what I tend to do with most of my 4WD trucks.

I finally got the Traxxas XD kit for it, so that's next on the list to install. I still haven't had time to remove the paint from the truck.

I finally got this one done. After sourcing the missing parts from the eBay EHD kit I bought (screws, pins, hexes), it's done for now. Eventually it is going to have a HobbyWing Quicrun G2 combo in it. The kitten is my rc supervisor. White Paws supervises every time I touch an rc car, usually by sitting on my right leg and batting at parts on the table. I also installed the Traxxas 9042X HD hinge pin kit.

It needs further investigation apparently.
